I've lived here for 3 years and moving come July 31st...I AM SO GLAD! At first, it was a nice place. Since living here, we've been through 3 different management companies. The apartments are nice looking inside for the most part. The walls are paper thin, you can pretty much hear EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE around you. People party constantly. The people above me sound like they are breaking doors and tearing down walls at 2am and 3am. They like to fine you for EVERYTHING they can think of...which some of the things are quite petty and ridiculous if you ask me. Parking is a nightmare! I hardly EVER get to park near my apartment. Most of the times, I can't even park in the visitor parking--it is always full. I feel as if it is unsafe for me to have to walk across the parking lot late at night. When I moved in, pets were not allowed. Since there is new management, I've heard that pets are now allowed...which is a good thing. Flooding is a problem on the first floor...our apartment has flooded three times in three years. Two times due to rain and another time due to an appliance breaking. Mold was also a big issue. If you clean religiously, still expect to have mold and mildew a day after. If it rains really hard or a NE windy rain comes through, expect rain to seep through the bricks. You cannot paint the walls or personalize things very much. I feel like it's just an overly expensive dorm with a couple of amenities. Good luck if you choose this horrible place!
