I think for a first apartment, CP is just ok. The apartments are pretty nice with a decent amount of space. Other than that....
The big problem I have had with CP was the MOLD. I cannot believe how moldy it gets around my apartment! Believe me, I clean on a regular basis, and I still have mold issues. It's disgusting.
Noise-wise, there's plenty of it. I've had to talk with my neighbors countless times about their noise. Someone is always screaming, playing Rock Band at the loudest volume, stomping, fighting, crying, having sex (yes, you can hear that! some people don't realize that the walls are PAPER THIN)....
As a side note, I have not been impressed with their renewal process. I understand that they want as many people as possible to stay, but I'm tired of the countless fliers, emails, phone calls... they even had some of their staff go door to door to bug people about it! Way to make your residents feel like cash commodities, CP. Residents need to make their decisions without the constant pressure, thanks.
A lot of these things I mentioned can be encountered anywhere, but honestly, if you want a nicer apt, go somewhere else.
