The apartments are actually very pretty; however, review the lease and make sure everything is written down because the land lord fails to stand by verbal agreements. Although residents have free reign over the pool any day it is open, for only $10 a season, residents will be randomly "not allowed" to visit even though that is against the lease. Keep in mind this place does not have emergancy maintence. There is only one maintence man, who is always friendly and courteous, for all of lakeside; however, he is strickly 9am - 5pm Mondays through Fridays. If it snows, you will fall on ice until the ice melts on its own; there are never any people outside shoveling the walkway or the parking lot until it has nearly finished melting. The pet fee is $500 per pet when other pet fees never go over $250 in greenville. There is no place to walk a dog, so you continually step in dog manure everyday. Because of this construction, residents in 960 have to park somewhere else. Also, the deposit is two months rent, not one like with most apartments in greenville. Good Luck ever seeing that money again. This year, there has been contstruction work next door, by the same land lord, and the workers constantly harrass the women living in Lakeside. Their loud machines, music, and catcalls make it impossible to do any work even when you are inside your own apartment. No resident was warned about the future constuction when they signed the lease.

Our policy at Lakeside Apartments is to go strictly by the lease agreement and conditions. NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS. Our pet fee of $500 is comparable to other new, luxury apartments in the Greenville area. Again, we stress that if anything needs our attention, please contact our office immediately so maintenance can be scheduled. Our deposit is based on your credit score and ability to pay rent based on your income.
