I find my review to be very similar to the other negative reviews.
From the day I moved in, the staff was rude. I moved into an apartment that was missing fixtures and had stains all over the carpet- I was promised this would be handled but it never was. I had to buy throw rugs to make my apartment look presentable.
In the nine months I was there, I had two major problems that resulted in my apartment flooding. Both times the staff admitted it was by no fault of mine, but was rude about fixing the problem and even threatened to charge me $25 to have the maintenance guy come out because it was after hours. Both times the incident was incorrectly handled resulting in mold and water damage to the walls and carpet. I also had mold growing in my window sills from the first day I moved in and the staff said I just needed to wipe it down with a towel- clearly the windows were not sealed correctly. I also had repeat issues with neighbors being too loud and often found bugs and worms in my apartment because the door jambs were dry-rotted and did not seal completely.
The staff was very rude, one staff member even slammed a door in my face because I arrived at the office two minutes before it was scheduled to close. The office is also closed around the holidays without warning, shutting down for several days at a time which made it impossible for me to receive my Christmas packages.
Another issue I had was with the alarm system. A week before January 1 I received a letter saying the apartment complex was suspending its contract with the alarm monitoring company January 1. They also said they would be signing on with a new company very soon- well, five months later and that still hasn't happened.
I felt relatively safe there, parking was not an issue, but the apartment was falling apart and the staff was very rude about fixing it. As someone else mentioned, the road getting in and out of the complex is incredibly busy during rush hour and can be hazardous at times. The complex is also more interested in building more units then keeping up the ones they have. I wouldn't live here again.
