I subleased in the middle of term and am NOT renewing. During the last few months the place has gone down hill quite badly. While parties and noise are to be expected, this place has gotten out of hand. I hope the new manager can get it back to what it once was, even 6 mths ago. The grounds are lovely, but when the basketball goals were taken down because of all the unwelcome "visitors" instead of just hiring security the standards were lowered. Renters pay for all the amenities...why should we do without when we pay for ALL of them monthly''' They should have used some of the cash for security instead of new stone on the clubhouse front steps! And forget getting into the pool on Sundays unless you are small enough to squeeze through the fence.

i was told that they are getting new basketball goals, which is why they were taken down, which is good because the needed to be replaced. & i dont know about anyone else but i have seen a lot more security

If they are replacing the goals wouldn't it make more sence to take the old ones down and put the new ones up on the same day? The goals have been gone for a couple of weeks now,where are the new ones?

pirates place is down right GHETTO. there is a HUGE bug problem. i'm a clean freak and i kill 1 if not many bugs every day. the carpet is nasty and everything thats broken or falling apart never gets fixed. yea they may throw a slab of paint over it to make it look better but that doesnt fix the molding rotten walls in my shower. the maintenance people are nice but just b/c they smile at me and say hey doesnt make me wanna deal w/ all the other shortcomings. you can piss on me and tell me its raining but its still piss. and the "security" flies thru the parking lot at all hours to catch people using the apartments as a cut thru to the ghetto. i dont feel safe and it's not worth it. there are sooo many more places to live in greenville. thats why im not renewing my lease
