Terrible place to live. I moved in when they were first built & not everything was finished all the way. In the middle of moving in we had to move our cars so that they could pave the lot. Everything was very rushed & last minute. Now that i have finally moved out, they charged me for every little thing. I had to pay more than double what my deposit was. I guess they expected the place to be left in better condition than what it was before i moved in''' Do not live here unless you want to pay $600 -$700 (per roomate) for them to replace your carpet that was not even remotely damaged, and an additional $50 -$75 for outrageous chages. The management is terrible!! Do not rent here.

They charged me like 400 dollars to replace the carpet that wasn't even remotely damaged. Also, being responsible for getting the carpet cleaned before you move out is 100% the complex's responsibility. I have never met an apartment complex that made the tenant clean the carpet. That's like saying you have to repaint the walls before you move out (Even though we did because we knew they would get us for every dime we had). I just couldn't grasp the concept of replacing the carpet in my bedroom that was perfectly fine. They ended up charging me and my other roommate around 700 dollars total while our third roommate who had a dog that we reported only had to pay 60 dollars even though it was his dog who chewed the blinds and peed on the carpet. When I wrote the check for the damages that were not my fault, I swore I would have nothing else to do with University Suites. Plus the location is horrible! You will wait about 30 minutes just to pull in the complex if the train is stopped.
