I lived in the Village Green one bedroom apartments for a year and wouldn't recommend it! The apartments are old and not energy efficient. We had the bill get up to $200 for a tiny place. Also, my building backed Forrest Manner, which had more crime at that time than I felt safe with. The management (rumor has it that new people manage now) often threatened eviction on a guilt by association basis. I was friends with much of the complex, and if there was an issue they often assumed I was part of it, even when I gave proof that I was not even home. It's just not worth it.
