Cheap

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
I lived at Eastbrook for 3.5 years and Village Green down the hill for almost 2.5 years now. Yes there have been management problems, but the new property manager is getting her act together and things are improving. I like the new visitor and resident parking areas -- I can actually park in front of my building now. About a year ago we all got new engery efficient windows, which has helped quite a bit with utilities. The maintenence staff are generally nice... along with changes in management there have been changes in the hierarchy of maintenence people which has made a few of the guys a little bitter from time to time. Generally, they are nice and clean up after themselves when they come in the apartment. What isn't good is the buildings themselves. I can hear my downstairs neighbors sneeze. I can tell what channel they are watching or how many people, and whether they are male or female, they have in their apartment. My cat loves my balcony! I'd really only recommend moving here, especially to a downstairs apartment, if you can sleep through voices, foot steps, and a little noise. In the end, you get what you pay for, and as I mentioned, this place is cheap.
