Where do I begin' My husband and I have lived here for 2 and a half years, and that is only because we are tired of moving. When we moved in, everything under the sun was promised (June 2003); a second pool, second clubhouse, new jacuzzi with second pool, gated community, e-bolts, dog runs,tennis courts, everything. In our first lease cycle (2003-2004), we only saw the dog run. Then, with our second lease, they had to raise the rent to pay for all the amenities that never were built in the first one. The gates did not work until January 2005, and that is saying a lot. The gates still don't work half of the time. The dog run was taken down for the first 7 months of our second lease, which is the only reason we stayed (so our dog could have a place to run). You pay a pet rent to provide baggies to pick up dog waste, and that was out a lot too. If you didn't pick it up, you were threatened with fines. The tennis courts were built during the second lease as well, but not before they built their maintenence building that is huge and is all sorts of nice. Did I mention the 4 new buildings that were built before all the promised amenities' The new clubhouse/ billards/ office was completed a couple of months before our second lease was up. The office staff got to enjoy it first and we were told we had to wait. The pool was started in May. It is now November and it is still not done and collects nasty rain water and insects. But that did not stop construction from starting at 8am or earlier everyday. I often wondered why they spent so much time, and yet nothing got done. Parking sucks, the office staff rolls their eyes at you and makes you uncomfortable, our carpets were NEVER CLEANED between us and the last tennets, as well as one room never painted. Maintenence will NEVER fix things, even when it is asked. We have stoppers on our sinks that have never worked. The building we live in was built on a spiders nest and has a look of arachnaphobia to it; spider webs and spiders and their egg sacs EVERYWHERE. Pest control is not a priority. And to top it off, they cut down trees one day and dropped a tree on my neighbors brand new car. So, even though it looks nice, don't rent here, save your money and live in a box on the street.
