I lived at Waterford for the past 2 1/2 years. When I first moved in, there were LOTS of issues. Slow maintence, office people weren't helpful, gates never seemed to work-- and the first e-bolt system was a disaster. I just moved out this past May to take a new job in Charlotte, which is where I found out about this website. I just want to let you know Waterford is getting an unfair (or maybe just outdated) rap.

Agian, when I first moved in, things were a little rocky. But after the first year, things got a lot better. They have great maintence now, and the people come quickly when you call them. The girls in the office are really sweet and are especially helpful when you need something done. I LOVE the fact that they are dog friendly and provide runs and doggie poo bags for you. The grounds are really nice too if you want to walk your dog on a leash.

I like the security system in the apartment-- I live alone and it makes you feel very safe and secure. I've never lived in an apartment where they had a security system. It's pretty awesome. They also have a sprinkler system so in case your crazy neighbor falls asleep with a cigarette in bed, you don't die in a blazing inferno...wish I had this in my new place in Charlotte. New deadbolts replaced the e-bolts-- the idea of the e-bolts was great, but they just had too many problems.

To make a long story short, Waterford is a pretty great place to live. I really enjoyed my time there.
