I picked Ashton Woods because it's close to the river and it's a small community. My neighbors are a neat mix of professionals and students and everyone's very friendly! Also, since I have a dog, the open area next door along the river is a plus. Now the city has opened a fenced-in public dog park a couple of streets over. My pooch can have play dates with his dog pals! Great location and I'm only 6 blocks from campus and close to the ECU bus route.
