Wilson Acres

I lived here for one year in a one bedroom apartment. Every time there were maintenance issues the staff both in the office and on the maintenance team would promise action, which was never taken. The walls are amazingly thin, and the area the complex is located in is VERY loud. We soon learned the difference between a gun shot and fireworks. As a woman, I never felt safe walking from even my car to my front door. The crime rates around the area are very high.
Parking is a nightmare as well. Even with the new policy to have parking permits, this is not enforced at night and there are many parties in the neighborhood - guests park where ever they want.
When I moved out, they sent me a bill for 518$, and still have not explained why. They have threatened to send my father (co-signer) and I to a collections agency, though they have not explained the charges.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS.
My new two bedroom apartment is much nicer AND about a hundred dollars cheaper than their rent for my one bedroom... in the same town.
RENTERS BEWARE!!!
