Ok, but not that great...

I lived in a 2BR apartment for about a year and a half. Everything is ok, except the paint is cheap (cleaning a wall pulls paint away, and marks show up just from touching the wall), the walls are relatively thin (you can hear when people have sex, shower, and even when they pee), and the management isn't very quick to respond to a problem (took months to fix the dishwasher, and it is still broken). The fridge leaks water, and the ice maker doesn't even work.
The management is ok, and they do what they can with a small staff. One of the managers sometimes has an attitude problem. The drive into wilmington is not bad, takes about 30 mins with traffic.
The biggest problem I have had is in regards to noise complaints that could never get solved. My neighbors made noise, we complain and nothing happened; I make noise, neighbors complain...and it is like I killed our managers dog.
If you have two people in a 2br...it is a little cramped, and furniture will take up a lot of space.
The trash overflows often due to lack of dumpsters to accommodate the amount of tenants living there.
People will absolutely steal your laundry in the laundry mat...so buy a washer and dryer.
I have been in better places, and I have seen worse apartments to live in. The rent goes up $30 every six months only if you get a year lease. Otherwise, the costs will be even more.
