Lived here about 15 months. Could never see the place before, and the first thing I thought was SMALL. One bedrooms are ridiculous, no door to your room, very small living space, not worth the money. The grounds are well maintained and the management, though its switched a lot lately, are nice to work with. Dishwashers don't work well and the maintence will attempt to fix it by running hot water and giving you a magical solution, even that doesn't work. Very quiet really. Living downstairs below someone really stinks because you can hear noise, though its not that bad. Neighbors are nice and pleasent. Not much activity in Hampstead. Can't hear the highway really either. Very big yard in back for dogs to run, even though "its not allowed". There is plenty of room in the bedrooms for a queen bed, dresser, two nightstands (atleast thats' what I have). Room is tight, not a lot of storage, but you can definetly get by. I would recommend this to anyone commuting to Wilmington or Jacksonville. The drive is not bad, not a lot of cops, 20-25 to UNCW, 40 to Lejeune through back gate.
