They promised us anything to get us in the door. Then it all went to hell. This place is a joke. Like all the other reviews, dogs will keep you up at all hours. They lied to us and told us that the dogs are only out certain times of the day. THIS IS SO NOT TRUE. All day and nite these dogs bark and it echo's through out the stairwell. Internet is WiFi and down at least once a week. There is no Cable only Dish. I have a brand new Apt that the kitchen floor is coming up. Told them about it when I first moved in and they still haven't fixed it. (6 mon later) The Hot tub has not worked since I moved in. The maint has entered my apt while I have been Home (and awake) never once knocking first. I'm sooooooooo happy my lease is up and I'm out of here. Oh the best part is they sent me a notice telling me my lease will soon be up and that the rent will go up $200 a month, thats in addition to the $830 I already pay. (for a 2 bdrm). HHHHHHHHAAaaaaaaaaaa THEY CAN HAVE IT. ALSO BEWARE OF YOUR CAR. MINE HAS BEEN HIT BY SKATEBOARDS TWICE. THE OFFICE TELLS ME, NOTHING THEY CAN DO.

I as well am sick and was lied to about Mosteller from one of the earlier managers (Becky) they had when first opened. It is one thing to pay high rent for the region, but to have to live with stress and not feel like you have a home to come to is wrong. They lied about the Humane Society and damn dogs barking 24/7 that you have no peace in your apartment. They lied about a business center which they do not have. They lied about a playground for the children which has never been built either. The pool was not able to be used because they turned the temp so low nobody could swim in it. Then the hot tub was closed down for many months, and when open, it either is not cleaned weekly as it should, or we ourselves have to put water in it because maintenance does not keep it filled properly to use.I can go on and on but am stressing already... And trying to communicate to those two mexican fellows is ridiculous when you do have a complaint. The current manager is an idiot and will tell you, if there is damage, you must accept that living in a rental community like this. NO WAY IN HELL is this acceptable! Our neighbors had a nice portable weather station that cost over $600.00 and it was completely smashed by a group of punk "goth" kids that run around here with no parents anywhere to be found. We have other neighbors who had gasoline syphoned from their cars and had to buy locking gas caps. We have neighbors who have damage to their cars like scratches all over them, caps on lugnuts removed, and other things that should not be going on in a true high class development (which this is not by far). But the owner, Harry Pilos (Delphi Development), is from Asheville and has similar community there I understand, and it is the same there too. People I spoke to visiting Asheville say the Eastwood Village Apartments in Asheville are the same with many manager changes, unscrupulous business practices to get you hooked into a lease, and damage going on to personal property, and the office not caring to be bothered by anything except that they get that damn rent on time or else they will evict you! I know there are tenant & landlord laws in NC, but they are very vague and not fair to renters at all when we have to put up with such crap and a property owner who does not care if drugs are being sold by kids or problems going on as long as they get the rent.

Thanks to all of you guys, I think I will never rent from here!!! Was looking to be married here, but if this is how they treat renters, I think I will go elsewhere! Also, you guys maybe victimized because of the community you live in. It is supposed to be upscale, and maybe people are jealous, or think you have enough money to refill your gas tanks. Crazy kids! Does not make what you have been through right at all. Sorry, for you guys!

I can't believe that you guys have to deal with all that crap. I live ext door and went to look at Mosteller becasue my lease was coming up and I was interested to see if they were nicer since they are obviously newer. NEVERMIND NOW!! I have never dealt with that crap the The Legends apartments. We have had some issues in the past with car breakins but the managemtn took care of this immediately and let us know to be on the lookout. I love my community from my aparment down to all the great staff. So glad i decided to stay. If you guys are looking to stay in this area I suggest next door.

Dealing the the Mansion for any event is just as HORRENDOUS as what I read about from the apartments - no wonder; we have to deal with the same people - not PROFESSIONAL at all. I won't even use the term "unprofessional" because that at least implies they have some professionalism - NOT!!!

Yes we knew one of the former staff and she helped at catered events and she was fired from her job too because she wanted to deal with people respectfully and owner told her, "you deal as I tell you or you find another job", and so she refused to treat people badly and lost her job. My wife was aksed to help at another function by a fellow named Barry as we just moved there not knowing anything. He said they were going to give her a reward for helping and a certificate for her time, and in the end, my wife never got a thank you or the certificate or any compensation for her hours of time and effort helping with one of the functions there which gave us our first sour note about the place.
