I lived in the cheaper apartments accross the street (Legends) (for only $675 a month for a two bedroom!) and it was pretty good... I have seen the Mosteller apartments, and they aren't that nice at all...

THE MAIN REASON WHY I AM WRITING...

I am getting married at the Mosteller. I cannot even tell you HOW HORRIBLE this has been dealing with these snooty, rude, unhelpful people. ------ ------- is the rudest person I have EVER met. They make you pay a TON of money just to use the place, then try to tell you that you can only use a certain caterer, a certain florist, a certain rental company etc... in other words, the dictate EVERYTHING. (They mark up the costs for these "preferred" caterers/florists/etc. 20% and keep the money!)

In the contract, it states that up until THREE DAYS before the wedding, THEY CAN CANCEL and KEEP YOUR MONEY!

These people are running a crooked business. Dozens of local caterers/florists/DJs are REFUSING to work with them because they are horrible people....

Stay away from ------ -------... she's an evil witch who has made NUMEROUS rude comments to us, been difficult, hard to deal with, and acts like she is better than everyone else. Good luck if you are getting married here... it has been HELL for us.

What you write is very true. We know some of the former staff the owner fired as well. The whole complex is run hectic and unethically in my opinion. Even some of the staff you may have dealt to in the past that we know, wanted to take a short break on one such catered occassion, and owner told them, if they take one break, they will be out of a job pronto. The owner acts like a real estate developer or general contractor who tacks on 20% additional fee to costs of the subcontractors who do all the work and pockets that, yet does you the customer, no good in the process. We hope your wedding was special nevertheless and wish you a happy future regardless of the bad experience you had at Mosteller Mansion.
