I moved to Forest Hills because it is close to where I work, and when I first moved in I was moving from out of state, and didn't know the area. I usually never live on a floor lower than the top, but nothing else was available when I moved. There have been 5 different sets of people who have lived above me. The first couple would walk so loud my windows would vibrate, yell and beat each other at all hours of the night and day. I could smell the cigarette smoke coming through the walls of my kitchen and bathroom from the apartment next to me. When the people upstairs moved out, I made written complaints to the complex, the next three people that lived there were fine, occasional noise, normal living things. Now the people upstairs are banging around at all hours, and the big plus is the people across the walkway have a rave party almost every weekend. I can hear their stereo if I am in my bedroom with all the doors and windows closed, even though their apartment doesn't touch mine. We've had numerous car broken into in the past year as well. In short the place is getting worse, and I'm getting out when my lease is up. Oh, and they won't work with me on breaking my lease in order to buy a house, even though I've never caused a problem or ever been late on rent.

I have lived at Forest Hills for 2 years now. I have loved every minute, they have great amenties and the office and maintainance staff is right on. I have lived on the bottom floor and the top floor and never had any noise problems. Also these apartments are in the best location in Hickory. Overall I have had the time of my life living here

I lived in forest hills for 3 years, and I loved every minute of it. Everyone there is so nice and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Plus you are close to everything! You have the mall infront of you, the movie theatre across from you, and another little shopping strip across from the mall as well. I recently moved from forest hills to another complex, and wish so bad I could move back to forest hills. It was always a quite neighborhood. The only time there would be any noise outside is at the pool parties they have once in a while. Overall I loved it there!!!
