When you see the model, or when you view the apartments from Hickswood Rd, you'll be amazed at the quality and beauty of Copper Mill. When you first meet the office staff you'll find them to be nice and helpful, which for the most part they are. I hope for your sake though, if you choose to move here, that you never have anything to complain about.

I had numerous problems here, and almost as often as I had problems, I had less than satisfactory responses from the office staff.

My problems included, but were not limited to:
-A/C going out upon moving into my brand new apartment in 95* weather
-paying extra for a garage only to deal with it flooding constantly and taking forever to be repaired
-noisy 18-19 year old girls across from me holding parties and drinking/doing drugs
-dealing with constant noise and harassment from a group of 18 year old basketball players moved into 3 apartments all around me
-terrible parking problems that were never resolved, including having cars blocking my garage when I tried to leave for work on two separate occasions
-being YELLED at or TALKED DOWN to by the management staff in the office when filing complaints or asking (in due time) what the progress was on problems I dealt with

Honestly, I was very shocked that I had so many problems here. Eric, Shannon, and Amy were all great to work with at times, but when something was wrong, Eric and Shannon made me feel very unwelcome there.

I obviously had plenty of problems, but when it comes down to it, I am the type of tenant they should be seeking out. I pay on time, I'm always quiet and respectful of others, and I was very friendly with neighbors. I never caused them any trouble other than asking for what I felt needed to be fixed.

If I were to do this all over again, I'd rent one of the original apartments since they appeared to have much better quality and much better people living in them. I know that I never met anyone from the first phase with any terrible complaints. Other than the dumpster overflowing weekly or there not being a hose at the car wash for months on end, I never heard of anything else. Stay away from the newest phase and you should have no problems.

You are very right i had on my floor the sam exact problem teenage girls doing drugs partying and being obnoxious I will never move to a place like this again. I had to worry every day if my truck was going to be dented up or things stolen out of it.

I'm just wondering why no one called the police? I live in the first phase and we had a problem neighbor. When I called the police, Shannon had the partier/drug user evicted to keep the rest of us safe. I'm really sorry you had such a tough time at the apartments. We love it here.

Eric is not a babysitter. You should call the police or the on site security. If 300 little brats would learn to get along and play nice together you would not need to call Eric all the time and he could spend his time doing more important things.
The garbage situation is due to LAZY PIGS. Noise... You will always have noise if you live in an apartment with 355 apartments 700 people and just as many cars.. Dont like it buy a home.

Wow. It is so obvious that this last "anonymous" poster works in the rental office. I've seen the "buy a home" retort posted on here more than once in response to some of the negative feedback here. Not everyone is able to or even interested in buying a home. That does not mean that they don't deserve to live in a quiet, clean, peaceful and well-managed community. That's what they pay rent for! I won't even waste my time coming by to view this place. No wonder they're currently giving away one month free rent as an incentive.

We have recently increased the weekly number of time the trash compactor is emptied, this has dramatically reduced the overflow issue. In response to the problems with noise and neighbors, we have a "three strike" policy that allows us to evict residents after three legit complaints. I apologize that you feel previous managment did not address your concerns in a manner acceptable to you, however, we do strive to make Copper Mill a comfortable home for all of our residents.
