While choosing apartments I found many that appealed to me but very few that were near my work. With the price of gas now a days I thought it would be great to stay somewhere close so I could save a little money. Little did I know the stress and hassel I was getting into. When I came to Copper Mill they treated me greatly and were very polite and nice I felt like it would be home but after the papers were signed that all changed. My first month at the apartment complex I had a lot of issues with things in my apartment such as the dishwasher not working, the toilet leaking and even power outlets not working. I was the first person to live in this apartment and I found out early the builders definetly do not take pride in their work. Then came the noise, all hours of the night I would hear loud music from cars parking car alarms going off and parties all over my complex. I am a full time college student and a Sales Manager so I like to get some sleep at night. Don't get me wrong having people over is fine but when it is untill 4 - 5 in the morning I can't concentrate on the important things in life. Then came the loitering and drugs. Every day I would come home around 9:30 at night and have to walk upstairs through a group of teenagers standing on the steps and ever time I could smell marijuana in the air. Every time I would file a complaint with the office nothing would get done and it seemed like I would be treated worse and worse. Trash and old food are always laying on the steps and atleast once a week I would come into the complex and at the dumpster there would be atleast 50 garbage bags laying outside of the dumpster because of how overflowed it was. Over all I would highly suggest for anyone who wants a safe and peaceful place to live find another local apartment complex Coppermill is on the bottom of places I have ever lived. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

I have been a resident for 15 months now, and LOVE the complex. I have twin sons and have no thoughts of moving in the near future! Perhaps this person was incapable of imparting their thoughts and feelings in a logical or precise manner. Also, the trash is not from overflowing, but rather from tenants, perhaps like this fellow, that take no consideration of others, but only themselves, and do not want to put the trash in the compacter. In fact, my husband has spent time putting the trash in himself because residents didn't put it in the compacter and it was NEVER from over-filling and always from laziness. Sometimes, we need to take responsibility for ourselves and stop expecting everyone to do everything for us as is so common with children today.

You live in an apartment not a house. If you want quiet and a perfect world,build your own home in the middle of nowhere.

The property has onsite courtesy patrol (actual High Point Police officers). We also have controlled-access gates and cameras that monitor the grounds. We have recently increased the number of times Waste Managment empties the compactor, this has dramatically reduced the overflow. We take noise complaints very seriously and address them immediately when they are brought to our attention.
