(-)After months of being a good tenant, paying on time, & no complaints for things to be fixed.....our rent was increased by over $50 /mo! That's redicuously high and who wants to move after only 6 months. We were originally told after the initial 6 months, we could do month to month...but never thought that after only 6 months we'd be hit with a rent increase.

(-)We were also told we'd get a daily paper. But, dissapointingly don't!

(-)Parking can be an issue at times, people don't always use parking spots and even use handicapped spots. Be cautious of cars fling through the parking lot!

(-)It's apartment living, so I don't expect it to be quiet all the time, but the staircase/common walk area is wood and it can be loud when people walk/run on in.

(-)Garbage does pile up by dumpster, before collection day.

(plus/-) Gym is nice to have, too bad others don't always clean up after themselves!

(plus/-) Grounds are maintained, but some don't curb their dogs or use the bags provided for clean-up.

(plus) Maintenance guys are super friendly, and prompt whenever we needed anything.

(plus) Location is convenient.

I've been here since 2003 and your last comment is the only reason I stay here because everything else you said is TRUE!! The newspaper only recently stopped but this complex had nothing to do with it ever coming in the first place. It was a gift from Oak Hollow Mall. How DRP can take credit or pose it as a bonus on their behalf is somewhat suspect. We're getting rain tonight so that will quiet the stairs?! Other than that, you can hear even the smallest person climbing the stairs! In 2003, we had great management in Stephanie then it went downhill quick with Pam. Now we have Mark and he seems neutral. Neither good nor bad. Just there pretty much talking a great game.
