pros: good location, close to public transportation, Walmart, Food Lion are 2 min's. away, clean, fast maintenance.
cons: kitchen and appliances are outdated, style of bathroom is more like a hotel bathroom, the windows are not well insulated, you feel cold air in, after your run the heat, the apartment gets cold too fast. Staff are friendly but they are phony, except for Danielle. The neighbors are nosey and they watch you when you go in and out, who is visiting your home, etc. If you have a family or friend stay no more than a month, they have to leave or you get evicted, if you plan to move at the end of your lease, you have to give them 2 months notice, if you break your lease, you have to pay the rest of the rent till the end of lease date or at least till it is rented(not sure about last part). It's not kid friendly, no play area. If you are suspected of doing something against the rules, the staff will sit outside by your apartment entrance or car or stand in front of your door to listen and then leave a notice by your door.(I caught one day looking into my peep hole) Sure, they have the right to check things out but they make it so obvious that they are watching you. And if you are one to sleep in the morning due to your job, forget about quiet, at 8 am they are mowing the lawn, and blowing the leaves with that loud machine. One more thing, if you call and they don't answer the phone, don't hang up and try calling again, Denise will scold you as if you are a child. Anyone that has something negative to tell me about my review, it's my opinion so don't go all crazy in defending Fox Hollow, I'm sure you are Denise and is not happy about what I wrote, or if your like, tell me who you are and I'll be happy to knock on your door and we can talk about. The worst con: If you rely on a cell phone as your main phone, forget it, no reception in the units! You'll have to go to your patio/balcony when you need to make a call and your calls will not ring inside, so you will miss you calls. I had to get a landline phone. They make sure they tell you all the rules but not about the phone and when I confronted them in the begining, they act stupid like they didn't know.
