Well I am not sure where to start but here we go. I lived at Laurel Springs from May 2003 till May 2006. When I first moved to LS we had an awesome manager who I thought was an angel.

I had a nice apartment, nice neighbors I thought this is a dream from heaven. You never get this in any apartment.

I heard many horror stories from other residents about management but discarded them as cant be true But I soon found out different.

In late 2004 I had to move to a 1 bedroom from my cozy 2 bedroom apartment, there were no openings in my building so I had to move clear across the parking lot.

At first I was like ok this is cool, soon after I learned an entire new story... Those horror stories I had heard before , well that came into light, the angel manager had a resident living with them according to all the office staff, some weeks later they was not fired as they should have been but they were promoted to a district manager over a different state.

Then we got a new manager and a lot of headaches. She did not last long, neither did the peace and quiet of my one bedroom. It seems that I had a neighbor who worked 3rd shift and came home early morning and liked to hear bass all the way across his apartment.

The office staff said we have to hear it to prove it and to take action. Well a few months past and the guy actually admitted it was him, do you think anything was done about it' NO. Did he stop doing it' NO

Do you have to put up with his by law ' NO

I had all that I could take, finally after threaten law suits and dealing with upper management who did little. I was transferred for free to another building but not before I had to call the cops 3 times in one night , this by the way was the night before I moved. We will just say that Officer Mitchell was not very happy on his 3rd visit to my soon to be old neighbor at 1 AM.

The next day I go moved into my new apartment in the other building. All was well for about 4 months till the neighbor below began to Broom my floor. See anytime see heard a noise that she did not like she took a broom and banged on the walls or ceiling depending on the direction that it was coming from. Not to mention that her husband harassed any girl within 10 feet of him.

I had an upstairs neighbor that no matter how many noise complaints the office issued her she got worse and worse, even after the courtsey officer talked to her.. Finally we come to a close with a happy ending.

After talking to HUD, The Fire Marshall, My Attorney and the attorney generals office and compiling a book of pictures and written noise and other complaints. I decided enough is enough It is time to move on to bigger and better things. Never again will I rent. Good bye Laurel Springs and GOOD RIDENCE.

Background on this posting:

This property grew from 256 units to over 505. All they care about is the money not the residents.

Complaint to cops: Large party out in the breeze way, loud bass, doors slamming. All at 11:15 PM till just after 1 AM on the 3rd visit from the cops.

Management wrote a letter to the building about the noise before the guy admitted to it, even said in letter that the person would be evicted , but they did nto follow through with it because he had just signed a new 2 years lease, goes to show that they care more about the money than the residence.

Keep in mind this is only part of my story a novel would better explain everything. So beware of what looks nice it is not always what is seems.

Keep in mind the state attorney generals web site is a great resource when you have a issue like this. It also helps that I have a family member who works for HUD.

F*CK YOU! I don't work for them & haven't for a while. My response was a personal response from me to the two of you, because I killed myself trying to make everyone happy. I don't particularly care for the company so I am in no way taking up for them, but I am however taking up for myself & letting the people who read this know that the two of you (especially you John) were a couple of whiney-a$$ nosey f*ckin b*tches. Don't let me catch you two out!

(Previous Passage):
Listen you punk b*tch @ss motherf*ckers, I know who the hell you are, and by the end of this you'll recognize me as well! The only reason I am writing this is because in you stupid f*ckin' novel that you turned into the office (which we all had a good laugh at by the way) they questioned me about my dog. Because you claimed that I had an "illegal dog" in the apartment they started looking into what my dog was. I told them that she was a mutt & because I have no official papers saying otherwise they had to take my word for it. They (upper management) were all over my @ss for a good while after that too, thanks. And after all the extra bullsh*t I did for the two of you, all the times I tried to make a difference you turned right around & ----ed me over like that. I guess I should have expected it from a couple f*ckin' snakes like the two of you. Also the apartment complex didn't do from 256 to 505 dipsh*ts, it went from 336 to 504. If you are going to talk ---- get your facts straight. I have many more corrections but I don't want to give you two the time of day. One last thing, you two had a picture of my apartment with "trash" outside of it, but they were blinds that they maintenance guys were changing for me so F*CK OFF!

PS: You guys had like 11 or so months left on your lease when you skipped (deadbeats!) and I was going to let it set vacant for the remainder of the lease (so you would have owed around $5000 or so & NO, there was no way you could have gotten out of it) but I had a friend who needed a 1 bedroom quick & that was the only one available. He's a great neighbor; he doesn't complain, make a fuss or stab me in the f*ckin' back as soon as I turn around!

after reading your review i can only ask one question.....is your life so empty that after 2 years you have nothing better to do than dwell in the past???? Besides, just because you had a bad experience in your opinion doesn't mean that others don't have their own opinion as well. You had a chance to voice yours and so did i. At least i am mature enough to respect the opinion of others so instead of calling you a liar in your review i am simply being the mature adult and saying... to each his own. Laurel Springs is where i choose to call home.
