Be Wise, You Better Think Twice!

You should think twice before you decide to rent. And you are very smart for reading the reviews before you decide to move to Laurel Spring Apartments. Watch out they have big dogs, small dogs and all kind of dogs. Be careful when you step on the grass cause you might get dog mess on your shoes, that you might have to tip toe around. I actually don't have a problem with the pets but I believe if you have one you should pick up there poop and throw it away. There basketball court is always locked so the kids get stuck playing in the parking lot. You would think Laurel Springs would keep it unlock for the kids here would have something to do to keep them out of trouble.
There is not enough closet space. And in the main bedroom bathroom there is no linen closet to put towels. And there is also no medicine cabinets. And they don't always change the carpets when a new tenant moves in. When I moved into my apartment I could smell there was a previous tenant with a dog living here, the smell was all in the carpets. My child allergies got worse coughing and sinus issues.
The walls are so hollow, you can hear people walking to the upstairs to the next floor, walking around and beds squeaking. When someone knocks on your neighbors door you think there is someone at your door and when you go to peek out no one is there. There Workout Room near the office is so small, the equipment stays broken, and is outdated. And it smells like a plastic factory. And the door to the workout room gets jammed all the time they need to replace the door and the lock. You walk all the way up there sometimes to just walk back to your apartment cause you can't get the door open.
Not everyone in the office is helpful, professional and nice they blame most things on there tenants, your children and your teenagers if they feel something is not right. Instead of them taking responsibility, Laurel Spring Apartments is about money and making more money. You'll see what I mean if you do decide to move here and your lease is up. The only one benefit is maybe the park. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place if you have children, or if you have not much tolerance for the noise, and are allergic to dogs or cats. Some of the office staff have attitudes, there only friendly when there having a good day they don't know how to deal with things professional and they don't know how work under pressure. I hope this was helpful to you all. Thank God I am moving out of here.

Also, as far as the basketball court, if parents actually watched their kids on the property...you wouldn't have to worry about things getting broken or being locked up...IT IS NOT THE KIDS FAULT HERE, IT IS THE PARENTS!!
That was not nice to say, I don't think it is right at all to keep the
basketball court locked up. If you had kids you would understand. But it is obvious you don't understand at all. Just wait you will have a problem here to, just give it some time. It is not at all the PARENTS fault. Things break just repair it. You know what the office can do if they were concern for tenants health they would not allow dogs in all the apartment buildings just in selected ones, that's what will make it better. I agree with this review, It is very true, and truth hurts. You can not say it is not the truth if you believe that then you probably work at the office or you're probably good friends with the office staff and not paying much for rent and there gym is small.

Some things never change, they get worse....See "Seen it, lived it, hated it..laurel springs" People they are laws in place that permit you to move without and fees or things being placed on your credit. Especially those with allergies whom have complained and nothing has been done about it at all. I will say that documentation helps alot, my attorney loved it that I kept such good account of things when i live dhere

We have lived here for over three years. Any problems or concerns that we have gone to the office about have been taken care of. The staff and the maintenance crew are great. About the poop in the lawns, don't complain to the office why don't you keep your eyes open to the people walking their dogs and if you see they don't clean it up tell them too. Thats what I do. As for the basketball court being lockedup,do you live near it? Maybe some of you parents need to see it when there is about 20 kids or more down there. Maybe you should listen to the foul language that most of these kids use. They climb and hang on the fence, they constantly spit all over. There is one 6 year old with the worst language I have ever heard. You see the kids but never the parents. For those who smoke, the whole world is not your ashtray. So Maybe if parents watched their kids, people cleaned up after their dogs, and used ashtrays that would help.
Thankyou to the staff at laurel springs we appreciate you.

I actually do have a child but I am one of the fewer parents that watches MY kid. I have to say, the apartment overall is great but the people (as far as residents) aren't! People do not take care of there things unless it is their personally. I have seen the damage that these kids cause and where are the parents....GOOD QUESTION! The problem with today's society is that the parents have NO control over their kids and do not watch them at all. They send their kids out on the property to get them out of their hair! HELLO.......SEX OFFENDERS, RAPISTS, GANG, KIDS ABDUCTED!!!!!! Don't you see? I love my apartment and I hate you have the problem with the office and staff but I don't. And by the way....I am not part of the office or work there. I actually go in and show my face and respect and in return...I get it back! I don;t yell, pay rent late or do much complaining. If I do complain, the office takes care of it. That is another problem I see, when y'all don't get your way, you go on here writing a bad review. GIVE ME A BREAK!

For the ones that see the problems with the kids and how bad it looks when there are numerous kids at the basketball court it looks really bad. I think we need a tennis court instead it would be more relaxing for the grown ups. The kids like to mess up the basketball goals and tear the nets up, also if the basketball court is locked they pull the fence up and go under it. Have you noticed your kids are breaking the trees around the property? I mean come on have a little respect people!!
