Hi, Here's my story ---

I was driving around looking for a place to call home. My husband is in a nursing home and I am raising a teenager --- Okay, that limits my choices of who wants my "baggage".
how cheap am I going to find a lovely, clean, "homey" place to live. A place where once more my tea-kettle could whistle and the smell of home cooking would invite my neighbors. I needed to find a new community family!

I first discovered Patriot's Pointe by driving by some apartments nearby --- My income was cut in half so I needed "cheap" -oh, was my heart in dismay -- I prayed, I cried -- I thought, oh Lord my scrubing and touches can make most things look "at home" but not here ---- then we decided to go up the hill to turn around --- I hadn't known about Patriot's Pointe --- and right in front of me was WOW! This is where I want to live! Sitting atop a hill, clean, in town but out from, beautiful view of Okaneechee Mountain --- but what about price. Do I dare find out --- I took the chance. Price fit, and can I begin to say enough.

The first person I met was one of the office ladies, Catherin. She showed me a model, then Robin --- she showed me ways I could save money --- I was invited to live here.

My experience in living here has been memerable --- more than a year has passed. I have met wonderful neighbors, a young couple who did a generous deal in selling me a car when I needed one, favor with neighbors and office staff who have in ways "adopted" my grandson. Understanding and hugs when things have been tough with my husband or grandson. The jist of my ramblings are that this has been a wonderful home, my husband if he could would be pleased that I am here -- and that says a lot because he always looked out fro me with the best of care.

I get out and walk some (not as much as I could) and I have never seen any thing that discouraged me about walking more.

The 24 hr. fitness center and the pool are always in the most inviting condition.

People are just that, and some would not be happy no matter where they lived. Any negative opinion would have to be from a negative human being. Any disparaging remarks about our staff would be unfounded and untrue. You have to live her to know that. All the management staff or the maintainance staff have always gone above their job description to be courteous, helpful, fair and nearly every month are working extra hours to have a time for all residence to get togher. A party, a meeting, just some inviting time to offer their residence something more!

I can't say enough thoughts about how enjoyable and good my living experience has been here at Patriot's Pointe. I am retired, raise a teenager, and my spouse is in a nursing facility --- I am in a growing population of older adults and we need to be surrounded by people who care --- I am speaking form my heart and truth when I say you won't find a better home than here.

Try this home out for yourself, if you need to rent!!
