I moved into PP several years ago. The apartments are very nice, spacious and greta appliance. The carpet is very cheap, but thats pretty common in apartments. When I moved in, it was very safe and quiet. However in the past year the management has changed and Falcon Managment has gone out of business (the company that owns PP). The first year I moved in there were hardly any crimes. In the past year there have been numerous car breakins, tire slashings and domestics. Most of this comes from the neighboring apartment complex which is riddled with drug activity. Upon complaining to the management, I was told cimes happen in all apartment complexes. They have dropped the rent for newcomers (which acounts for some of the crime and degraded community), but increased the rent for those who already live there. was fine paying a high rent as long as I got safety in return. Only after the 15 tire slashings of residents in the complex did they send out a flyer alerting the residents to the crime. They then set up a neighborhood watch organization. They obviously would not let the several people who wanted to move because of the crime out of their leases. This used to be a great complex...super location, super apartments, and great staff. In the last year this has all really gone downhill and many residents that have lived there for awhile are moving because of the unfair treatment and crime. One other thing to mention is that the apartments are built with very thin walls and floors so if noise isa an issue for you, this is not the complex for you. I was standing in my kitchen and my downstairs neighbor could actually hear what I was saying, same goes in the bathroom.
