My family lived here for a year. It was a lovely experience. The staff was courteous and professional. Maintenance, which we only needed twice, was prompt, competent, clean, and friendly.

The amenities are undeniably terrific: Great (great!!) location, a fun pool with summer get-togethers sponsored by the management, a free on-site car wash, an internet-access computer office area, and a weight equipment room. The grounds are lovely and the surrounding shopping/eating area (all within easy walking distance) were a treat for evening walks or quick errands.

The apartments are roomy with crown molding and 9? ceilings. (We unexpectedly received a wheel-chair modified apartment which redefines the word "roomy" in the bathrooms.) We were proud to tell people where we lived.

The neighbors were friendly. We felt very safe in the area. And there was more than adequate parking spaces in our area of the complex.

As wonderful as it was, I was concerned about the move-out. Would all this wonderfulness come at a price with a move-out invoice the size of the National debt' Having been burned by another local apartment complex the year before, I was very sensitive to how deceitful some property managers/companies can be. Though it was not a requirement for the Alta Braden, I still carefully spackled nail holes, scrubbed and polished the floors (under the frig and stove, too), washed the cabinets in and out, and had the carpet professionally cleaned. We replaced two screens damaged by our cat and replaced the mini blinds in the living room.

In the end we received 100% of our deposit back. It was a great feeling: Professional all the way.

Had we not purchased a home, we would have gladly stayed there another year. And, as much as we love our new home, we will miss many of the amenities and conveniences of living at the Rosedale Commons community located at Exit 23.

Recommendation: Yes! It was a wonderful place to call home.
