I love my apartment, and I love being at Birkdale. What I DON'T love includes hallway lights that are always out ("it's an electrical issue," they say -- SO FIX IT! It's also a safety issue!) and since new mgmt took over, there is no 24-hour maintenance, which means anything that happens in the middle of the night is ALL YOURS until someone shows up in the office in the morning. Isn't the security of knowing someone is there to fix the broken pipe at 2 a.m. part of why we rent'''

Broken Pipe?? This sounds like my building. 3 Years later and Nothing has been done about it........ This place has took the turn for the worst.
