RE: HAPPILYCHILDESS comment on Re: Do Not Rent Here!
I posted the original post on this matter (Do Not Rent Here!). First, I would like to say that I agree with this review. The staff is Horrible! Nevertheless, let me get back to why I am posting this comment... HAPPILYCHILDESS...you do not know what you are talking about. I have children and I live on the main street (Birkdale Commons Pkwy). My wife is a nanny and she takes care of several children in Birkdale Village, which happen to all live on the main street. If you actually live in Birkdale (which I doubt), you would know that most of the apartments in the "back" on Formby Road are vacant, I take my dog for a walk every day (and yes, I pick up after her) and pass by the open windows of vacant apartments every day... I guess the poor management of Birkdale is starting to show!

This posting is hilarious! YES, Birkdale is a luxury environment. Can you imagine how "luxurious" the environs would be if tenants were not required to pay deposits and fees? I live in Birkdale and applaud their management and legal teams for handling these otherwise deadbeat pet owning tenants who do nothing but denegrate my quality of life. I am guessing that any person trying to sneak a pet onto the premises is also not a person who would scoop up after them on their walks. Lazy and sloppy behaviors are consistent. I would hope that the person who posted this letter is on their way OUT of my home! Please do not let the screen door hit you, buddy! Good riddance!

Hilarious is right! Obviously, Birkdale was perfectly fine when you chose to live here, but now that you've been caught with your pet, it's anything but! That's definitely laughable. I can appreciate a community that is on top of things. Wouldn't it be something if the management company sees this and responds so we get both sides of the story?! Although not readily evident, I see things as they are... and you obviously have had more than enough time to make it right on your end...everyone knows that brining a dog into a new location/environment requires TIME and patience unless you are an absolutely lame pet owner. Even with all that aside, I can only say you should feel ashamed to blame management for what you didn't do. It'll be an even better place without you! Signed - Happy Birkdaler!

As I stated in my post...I only had my new dog for two weeks, with the holidays and work, I simply did not have the time to stop in and pay the deposit yet. I would completely understand the action that Birkdale took if I was a bad tenant (i.e. late on rent, noise complaints, ext), however, I am not.
The reason why I even posted this is because this of a series of many events, such as, the poor attitudes of the leasing staff, maintenance never showing up in a reasonable amount of time (4 weeks to fix a dryer that they later decided to just replace), the ever changing staff, and the lack of residental grouds maintenance.
I am just saying if you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you are looking for your maintenance request to be completed in a resonable amout of time, this is not the place.
