Not too bad

These are basic apartments. They aren't going to WOW anyone as far as appearance (floors are plain, counter tops, appliances, etc). Although if you do it right and hang a few things on the wall, most people will like your place. The two bedroom flat is around 950 sq ft and the bedrooms and closets are a great size. Perfect for roommates the way it is laid out.

They do come "fix" problems within a day or two. Sometimes the fix is more of a patch. Office crew is okay, nothing spectacular. It is easier just to walk in than to reach them on the phone. I lived here for two years and only heard of one car break in. The kids that did it were from Forest Shadow, the middle class neighborhood across from the Park and Ride just at the end of North Cross Drive in Cornelius. Punk kids.

Neighbors were never a problem. I could hear a few of them a little more than I cared to from time to time.

Great plus is if you live on the second floor and are in the two bedroom, the entire upstairs porch is yours, so if you hear someone coming up the stairs you know they are coming to your place.

Never once had a bug(other than moths that flew in or what not), an exterminator comes in and sprays apartments about 3 times a year.

The cable sucks. Very expensive and prices constantly go up a dollar here and there. You can get Direct TV or DishNetwork, but only if you have a clear view of the southern sky from your porch. There are a lot of restrictions in mounting a dish. I hear AT&T offers cable through the telephone lines, I would go that route. You either have to use Dial-up internet or DSL through AT&T. No Roadrunner/Time Warner Cable here.

Overall, decent place to live when you are first getting started, or looking to save money on rent. Most of the community seems to be 30 , very few kids.
