My number one complaint was that the girls working in the office were not friendly most of the time. They were snobby and they treated you like they were big and you were little. This alone was enough for me to not want to move back to Abbington place.
I did A LOT of research before finding a place to sign a lease. We ended up going with Abbington place and I will be honest about all of my experiences. You be the judge if it seems like a good place for you.
We at one time had an ant infestation however, after I called the office someone was sent out within a day and took care of the problem. The walls are VERY thin but this seems to be the case in all apartments. We liked our apartment and community a lot and after looking at all of the pictures of other apartment places, Abbington was VERY nice. I will miss my jacuzzi tub and walk in closet.
I did not know one person besides my husband in the whole town of Jacksonville and I came home and there was food thrown at my car.
Other people have also had this problem.
For the most part its a safe place to live and a good place for kids.
Everyone that I have talked to after getting out of their lease, never recieved any type of security deposits back.
I guess no matter how clean the apartment is they will always find something.
We left our spotless. You might as well trash it before you leave.

I live at Abbington Place and think the office staff is really nice - never had my car touched either.
