Here is my chief complaints. I can't stand my upstairs neighbors and the noise they make tromping around. I know the floors are thin, however I have brought this to their as well as the managers attention. It still sounds like a WWE match every night, and every weekend morning. They stomp from 5AM to 11PM.
That is not a apartment prob, however the fact the staff is not willing to do anything about it is. I don't care if they are a yound married white couple with a kid, rude is rude. I swear these people don't own a couch or never stop moving.
So if you are in a lower Apt get use to hearing lots of noise. I have no probs with the current staff when it comes to maintenance. However, I will say my carpet is so old it turns to dust when you vaccum it. The stuff is disgusting, it shouldn't be allowed to be used it's so old.
If there are heavy rains, I get brown water stains on my second room walls. If it were something other than a storage room this would bother me. But, the place is def old, and the upkeep horrible. I am appauled at all the money that must be pocketed here. Try sinking some back in to the place. This is Jacksonville though, and they realize that there will be another Marine family moving in right after one leaves. That is why rentals in this area get away with it.

The parking situation sucks, I own one car and if I come home at the wrong time I can't even get a parking spot. Race relations are horrible in the complex. There is a huge problem with interracial issues, both parties are guilty of contributing to this. A lot of late night partying happens on both ends.

Oddly enough there is not a bug problem. I have never had a whitnessed roaches in my place which is nice. The grounds keepers piss me off when it comes to blowing leaves into my door way and leaving them for me to sweep. I imagine if the price is going up, then the cons out weigh the pros.

The prob you run into is any rental that is slightly nice is outrageously priced. So it is either deal with these issues or pay a arm and a leg for something normal.
