I have enjoyed the past 2.5 years I have lived at Bluff Ridge. I will be moving (due to orders) soon and I am also looking at apartments through web sites and online reviews. Don't believe everything you read, take all of the "I hate/love this place" reviews with a grain of salt. I can explain some of the extreme hate reviews that have been posted. Some tips about reviews. If first names are used, it is a personal attack and should be viewed as such. This occurrence should be very rare. If there are misspelled words in the review, it is from an angry/uneducated resident that uses this forum to attack the landlord. Notice how some extreme hate reviews are from early June 06. This is when some of our most negative residents left our neighborhood, again attacking the landlord on the way out. Pay attention to attitude. It is amazing how people are nice to you when you are nice to them. Most of our neighbors are this way. I don't mean that Bluff Ridge is the "Brady Bunch" neighborhood; obviously there is a party every now and then. I have not heard of any racial issues within the community. When management changed this past year, there were many needed improvements made. Resident's records were updated and verified, more lights have been added to the property for increased safety, maintenance became more timely and efficient when complaints were reported, and monthly communication began with "Bluff Stuff" from the landlord to all residents. Unlike past landlords, the current landlord lives in our apartment complex. Like all apartments; some walls are thin, some neighbors are loud, and some dogs poop on the grass. We learn to deal with these issues, if not, we can always try to buy a house. Please Note: This reviewer does not work for Bluff Ridge management or the landlord.
