Kudos to the person who wrote the previous review! Bluff Ridge has been awesome! My Husband and I love it and its sad to think that we arent going to be here too much longer! This is our home and its really not cool to see so many people trashing it. The comments about the staff are ridiculous. Since the minute we moved in here, they have bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. And, no, you dont have to be good friends with Kim, Cayla, Sam or Todd to get something done. I read a comment about husbands being gone and the staff doesnt care' Are you kidding! Its not their job to babysit you because your Husband isnt here. Racism' Please. Cant even begin to tell you how false that is. The grounds are kept awesome, but someone had to comment on the "dog poop"! Bluff Ridge supplies poop bags and garbage cans, so is it their fault a resident doesnt pick it up' Also, try to find an apartment complex that allows dogs and theres no poop to be found! Impossible! So many wives in here do nothing but complain about Bluff Ridge & Jacksonville, but let's face it; Its not the apartment we live in or the town, its them being plain old miserable because they had to leave behind their comfy homes and their families and friends and they need something to complain about. So what, the places are old. The Staff does what they can to fix things or replace them, but it seems as though the residents in here expect them to work miracles. Im sure they would love everything in here to be brand new, but do you expect them to pull money from their own wallets to get it for you' Seriously people, find something better to complain about because these false criticisms are really getting old. And try to remember, at the end of the day, you are most likely here because your Husband is in the Military, so why not make the most of your marriages and stop trying to make others look bad.

This person is NUTS!!!! Lol. Dont begin to assume people are unhappy in marriages because they wrote a response! You are PATHETIC!! If you like to live in old, run down places by all means do so!!! You must not have standards because if you did you would not have wrote that review. The least the staff can do is use the money they add to rent every year to actaully buy new appliances or put new carpet in! Good luck to you in life! And remeber if you talk about miserable people you are only miserable yourself

I would have to agree with the comments. The person who wrote this is probably the gossip b#tch that hangs out with the manager(KIM)in her AA meetings. Kim should fired. The maint guys are good though.

Wow all this is so true. Kim was trying to have an affair with my husband and she was harrasing the heck out of him. She really gets drunk and violent. Did you know she's like 47 years old and hangs out with 19 year old kids from the apartment. Don't get on her bad side she will trash talk you and go into your apartment while your gone.

oh yeah i saw kim out at the bar kim was trashed and she came up to me and i was out with my b/f and kim was like your b/f has an amazing body and i was umm that was un called for but thanks and now every times she sees me she thiks we are best friends and she still trys to get with my bf and he has no intrest in her its very funny.... i feel bad for the lady

All I have to say is this is really sad. Could I maybe hear something about the apartment complex...maybe amenities, rent, neighborhood, nearby shopping, etc. I am from out of town and am looking for places to move to in Jacksonville, and instead of reading this and seeing that there is a terrible manager I think instead that I don't want to live in a community where the people are so desperate for something to do that they "blog" about the manager. If it is so bad be productive instead of pathetic. I am more concerned about my potential neighbors and what they would say about me instead of worried about the manager who just handles my rent, etc.

I understand the point you're making, but I'd like to suggest that maybe the reason Kim is the subject of so much of the conversation is because us residents are relieved to know we're not the only ones here that have had problems with her; I thought before that it was just me & she was nice to everyone else. The apartments themselves are a bit old, but our maintenance men are pretty great & work very hard even though they're stretched thin; there's only 2 of them for 7 or 8 buildings worth of residents. Actually I love the location- we're maybe 5 minutes from Camp Lejuene's main gate & my husband doesn't have to touch western to get there in the mornings (traffic is a PAIN here, so living close is key), and the local mall & movie theater are within walking distance. Plus it's right off of Western, which is where most of the stuff you really need is(and we're in the perfect spot for parades!!). If it weren't for poor management & rent price raises, I'd be very happy here.
