New Lease, Higher Rent!

I must say, I do like it here, but I am weary of signing a new lease because the rent will have gone up to between $780-800 a month, not including pet rent. I do think that is a little outrageous. It's nice here, but not worth that much money. You can rent a new townhome for $750! I think the management should take each tenant into consideration. What I am trying to explain is this: If you have excellent tenants, very clean, never been complained of, they should not have a raise in their rent when signing a new lease. It should kind of be a reward for taking care of your apartment and being a good tenant. I say, if you're a troubled tenant, the opposite of an excellent tenant explained above, then I think your rent should be raised when signing a new lease. I know you might think that sounds a little crazy, but I have friends that live in a certain very nice complex here, that when they signed their new lease recently, they didn't raise their rent for the simple fact that they were wonderful tenants. The manager explained to them that's why they did that, but they would be raising the rent on the troublesome ones. One other thing I don't really like is the stairs; they are getting weak and are so uneven! I must say, I love the maintenance men! They're both really kind! I am so happy with Kim and Cayla running this place as well! **Rent Prices Need To Be At A Standstill!**
