Sure, the rent is a little on the cheap side and you have free water and cable, but that doesn't make up for everything else. All the metal in the bathroom has some kind of rust on it and the tub has soap scum that won't come off. There's also a huge roach problem and the complex managers won't take care of it. It's the renter's problem so the renter has to pay for it themselves. On top of that you can hear the people upstairs fart. If you're into that type of thing, then this place is for you.

This is an accurate descrip of this apt complex. The roach prob is horrible!! I could hear my neighbor upstairs urinating in his toilet in the morning!! I can't tell you how many times I heard the Apt manager gossiping with tenants about other tenants when I went to pay the rent. I found that to be a common occurance. You coukd hear her and others (even the male staff) cackling like hens about who was late on rent, who was having trouble, etc. Very unprofessional. The maintenance people were ok, but rarely fixed anything that did not need repair immediately thereafter. And the drug activity that I could see and over hear from my bedroom window was terrible. I ended up breaking my lease early and moved into Puller Place apts. My command told me that I'd get what I paid for. And I did. I was trying to save some money, but I got a lot of headache. Puller Place is a little more expensive, but I can't hear my neighbor talking on the phone, urinating, coughing and I haven't seen one roach! My Apt manager is professional, doesn't look for me to gossip with her; I'm not expected to feed her drama in order to stay on her "good tenant" list and the maintenance staff is competent and respectful. If they fixed these apt up and provided some pest control, it might not be a half bad place.
