I've lived here for a while and I like it for the most part. I'll be honest and tell you the good and the bad. I moved here from out of state and needed an apartment quick. Like most people in Jacksonville I'm a marine wife. I hadn't seen the complex before I moved in. ok so here goes
The Good:
Rent is cheap for jacksonville. (590 for one bdrm 660 for two bdrm and 700 for 2bdrm 1.5 ba townhouse.)
All you pay is eletric (cable,water, trash included)
Roomy apartments
good neighborhood, I feel safe living here when my husband is gone.
the pool is nice and kept clean
the maintance is good and comes quickly
In the two bedroom and townhouses there are washer dryer hook ups and 3 laundry rooms within the complex
The Bad:
There are roaches outside. They're kind of big too, but I hear thats normal for nc
I've never seen them inside my apartment
parking can sometimes be a hassle but never excessivly bad
They aren't insulated too well I'm assuming. because I live on a ground floor and I hear my neighbors walking around and I can hear them if we're in the bathroom at the same time. Sometimes when I walk in the enterance if my neighbor is cooking smelly food I can smell it when I walk in
Oh also everyone has mentioned the older appiances. While my apartment is older and so are my appliances, I haven't had one problem. Also they try and renovate the apartments when they are open which isn't to often. these apartments turn over rather quickly. But you can get an updated apartment. When you call just ask!

Overall, I would say its a good place to live. For me the good outweighs the bad, So I'll probably stay.
The only other thing that sucks is they do not allow pets.

You're complaining that there are roaches outside. Newsflash....bugs live outside.
