I am so sick of this place! I have lived here since it opened, and it is a joke! Unfortunately, my husband and I extended our lease because he's deploying soon and we didn't want to move somewhere new just for 2-3 months. I don't know how these apartments get by on calling themselves "luxury" apartments. I could go on for days about everything that's wrong with this place, but I'll try to keep it short.
1.They claim to be soundproof, which they certainly are not.
2.They are constructed extremely poorly! Everything is falling apartment in my apartment and it's only been here for a little over a year! I can't imagine what these places will look like in 5-10 years. Not to mention, my kitchen counter fell off yesterday because it's not even attached to the wall!
3. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP CLEAN! If you get something on the wall, don't even bother to try cleaning it. As soon as you try to wipe the walls, the paint comes right off! I have marks everywhere on my walls and it looks like crap! Also, every time I vacuum my vacuum cleaner gets clogged up to the point where I have to take it all apart and pull out handfuls of carpet. There carpet really just gets sucked right up into the vacuum.
4. In June they decided that everyone with a dog will have to start paying pet rent, in addition to the $325 (maybe 350, cant exactly remember) non-refundable pet fee. Supposedly, this $10/month is going to cover the cost to clean up dog waste, because many people don't bother to clean it up themselves. They don't have anyone come to clean it up, so I wonder what they are doing with this money.
Everything else everyone said about the pool, the terrible parking, never getting questions answered by management, and all that stuff is true.
One of my personal experiences with the management was when we got back from leave in July to find my car surrounded by broken glass from beer bottles. There were broken bottles under my car and all over the main entrance to the stairway of our building. When we mentioned it to the management, the girl said she would give the apartment at fault a letter letting them know their were complaints about the glass being everywhere. That never happened. Also, their was glass right in front of our building for about three months. It was never cleaned up (even though we called maintenance about it a few times).
Another experience of mine is when we got back from Christmas leave, we realized our kitchen sink was leaking and is now starting to grow mold underneath it. It's still not fixed.
These are just some examples of how much this place sucks. I feel like every month when it comes time to pay rent that I am truly being robbed. This place is way over priced for the quality. You can find a much nicer 3 bedroom house with a yard for the price of the 2 bedroom apartments. Or if you just need a small apartment, you can definitely find much better deals in town. Sure, when you drive past the apartments, they look nice at first glance, but that's about it. This place is terrible and it's not worth the money or stress. PLEASE find something else.
(So much for trying to keep it short, but I really could keep going and going about this place)

"I am so sick of this place!" well go elsewhere! I like my Apartment. u say u have lived here since it opened..u complain about how *NEW* carpet stuffs ur vacuum, Yes new carpet can do that it does'nt help if u have pets which I wont mind assuming u have because ur crabbing about the 10$ pet rent? have u been to any other apartment complexes around. I have. other Pet RENTs are 30-45 dollars each month for each pet. get over it or move out. u say ur so unhappy.. it must be alright not make that big of change 3 months is a pretty long time to live somewhere u hate. Every Apartment complex has rules and regulations. making every person follow them wont happen. I doubt you follow all Rules. Honestly how do u know someone didn??????t get a letter. u just need to live life and get over stupid petty things. oh yes by the way "Noise" That??????s going to happen U LIVE IN APARTMENT! Get use to it if u continue to Rent!

I fully agree with the complainant as well as all of the other complaints written before this one. I have lived in apartment complexes spanning over eight years now and have never lived somewhere so horrible. I??????ve never had to deal with hearing my neighbors through the wall nor hear the people above me walk. People simply walking up the stairs disturb your household because it echoes so loudly. When we moved in these apartments we were told they were sound proof also. This is the funniest thing I have ever heard because these aren??????t even close to being sound proof. I actually have the paper that states that these apartments are sound proof. I could actually get out of our lease because it??????s false and would if we weren??????t also leaving soon already. The girl who commented on the complainant is obviously young and has never moved or just doesn??????t own much. The price of professionally cleaning the carpet, renting a u-haul to move your belongings, putting a deposit down on another apartment as well as your first month rent isn??????t worth it when you only have a few months left here. Not to mention the hassle of moving everything out and then back into another apartment for that period of time would just be stupid. Don??????t forget you will then have to pay for all of this again in a few months when you left the new apartment. Maybe the person who made the reply should think before she/he wants to comment! The parking has been mentioned several times and I have to agree it??????s ridiculous. As well as these apartments aren??????t even safe there isn??????t any security at all. This complex has had cars broken into; windows busted out, apartments being paint balled, and save the best for last actual apartments broken into and personal belongings stolen. If you don??????t lock your top lock (the bolt lock) then anyone can open your door with a credit card. I didn??????t believe it until my neighbor showed me. I also heard about a resident moved out and the lady who lives across from that apartment ended up getting her electricity turned off. I know that doesn??????t make since right. Well she was paying their electric bill and they were paying hers. The apartments had the wiring switched so that lady may have been paying for more then what she was using. These are only the few incidents I have been told about or seen myself. This week one of the apartments in the next complex over from ours had a water leak so bad that it flooded her entire apartment. She had like an inch or 2 of water in her apartment. They are changing the padding of her carpet that??????s it. The water seeped under all the walls and into the other rooms. It was so bad that water leaked out by the stairs where there isn??????t an opening. It came from under the brick wall. So I am sure there will be mold presenting itself in her apartment as well as the apartments surrounding hers very soon. Regarding the carpet I have had brand new never been walked on carpet put into an apartment before and it only clogged my vacuum the first few times. The carpet after a year shouldn??????t still be coming up that??????s called CHEAP carpet. At that when the contractors put in the carpet if they messed up they just put in a little piece to make fix their mistake. The rafters in our apartment are showing like crazy in all of our rooms. I know that when buildings settle it sometimes happens however this is from the apartments no being level. The sheetrock isn??????t smooth; you can tell where they pushed to hard on it, as well as you can see where holes were. The floor trim is cracked and the paint is chipped all over. She is absolutely correct regarding the paint. Don??????t wash the scuff marks off the wall because the paint will come off with it and it will end up looking worse. There are nails sticking out of some of my cabinets. Everything is just extremely cheap and I mean everything that they bought is literally the cheapest of the cheap. Come on our door knobs are even peeling off the cheap gold color that??????s just sad. They??????re renting out dirty apartments to new leasers. Some new residence have been surprised by melted popsicles in their freezer, dog pee stains on the vinyl tile, bent broken dusty blinds, stained and smelly carpet. I would have been pissed to have moved into any of those conditions and that??????s only a few. They don??????t change the locks when one resident moves out and a new one moves in so you better hope nobody made extra keys. When on your tiny balcony if the people above you smoke, spill a drink or water plants, have dirt/sand, or whatever can fit through the crack falls down onto the second and/or first floor. I was told about a girl who lived on the second floor getting litter dropped on her when the third floor decided to change the litter box. That??????s just over and beyond unsanitary and disgusting. Whatever your problem maybe with people above, next to you, or in the complex period bad or over and beyond bad nothing will happen when you go to the office. All the girl will do is write them a letter. Well a letter obviously doesn??????t do anything because nothing ever changes. The dog crap around the entire complex is horrible you can??????t even walk in the grass because you will step in crap. I don??????t have a dog but I run everyday and have stepped in crap at least 10 times whether in the grass walking to the sidewalk or in the actual parking lot. Don??????t rely on using the computer lab either because if you have to print something most of the time there isn??????t any paper or the ink is totally gone. Not to mention the internet has been down on several occasions. There also isn??????t any ac in the computer room only a ceiling fan. So it??????s either hot or cold depending on the season and the time of the day. The gym is about the size of a normal apartment dinning room it sucks. In conclusion I pay rent and should receive what I pay for and here you will not get it. Everyone who lives/moves into these apartments is getting robbed for sure. It is horrible that an owner would be so careless with his residence. These will be over and beyond run down in just a few years. Because they are already falling apart in every way you can think. He hasn??????t even fixed the side paneling on the buildings from the tropical storm that happened almost a year ago. So the only advise I can give anyone who is thinking about these apartments DON??????T DO IT you will regret it if you do!
