I lived in Liberty Crossing Apartments for about 1 1/2 years. The ONLY reason I stayed there that long is compared to the overpriced, bad part of town, or beatup apartments around town at least there was a grocery store and till Early 2003 a movie theater nearby. The management there was very lazy and always rude. The maintenance guys are overworked. The owning company, United Dominion would rather give bonuses to the management than get things that the apartments need such as new windows and doors. The windows do NOT keep in air and heat, they let in spiders (had a really bad time with Brown Recluse spiders) and the Air conditioning units are about 30 years old. My recommendation is Pay a little bit more and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! These apartments are NOT worth the $600 you have to pay for a 2 bedroom apartment or the $500 you have to pay for a one bedroom.
