do not move here

this place is horrible!

first, the condition of these apartments is disgusting. yes they are old so some wear and tear is expected, but not like this. here is a list of just SOME of the things wrong on the inside

- bathtub had paint all in it like they tried to paint the tub white instead of cleaning it.
- carpets do not go all the way to the wall, so there is this nasty gap where the carpet meets the wall and in some areas there are nails sticking out there.
- stains on the carpet! which is unacceptable considering how much you have to pay to have it cleaned!
- a whole in the roof
- the blinds were broken
- refrigerate was all torn up
- paint drips everywhere
- wall paper from previous tenants was still in the bathroom
- fan over the stove had tape holding it up

that was just to name a few!

some other problems since I moved in consist of:

- the washing machine ran over and flooded our apartment the first time we washed clothes.
- the hot water heater SUCKS! We could only take 10 minute showers every like 5 hours and god forbid we attempt to wash dishes more then once a day.
- the air conditioner puts out hot air and instead of fixing it we were told to play electrian and flip the swicthes in the breaker.
- around christmas time a horse trailor was parked RIGHT IN FRONT of my apartment taking up TWO parking spots and I complained 3 times and the office staff said oh those are my friends who own it I will get it moved, but it was there for over a month!!!
- my neighbors have 3 vehicles(they are only 2 people though) they like to park right in front of the apartments, which we are told we can only park ONE vehicle in front and because of this I never had a parking place and ended up having to walk a mile 9 months pregnant with a 16 month old to get to my apartment.
- i hear everything from my neighbors. It was like a soap opera. My mom and I listened to all their drama. Entertained us during the day.
- my neighbors dogs would poop and pee right in front of my door.
- i had to pay a $200 pet fee which covered nothing, but I still had to pay $35 a month for my cat.
- my mail boxes lock was broken almost the whole time i lived here, but they never fixed it until about a month before I left

and then when it came time to move out!!!

I was told 90 days before my lease is up I would recieve a note in the mail to be turned in 60 days before my lease is up...well it never came and when I asked about the office staff just shrugged and then 30 days before my lease was up i went in and was like hey i never got that thing in the mail and my lease is up in 30 days they said oh no its not we renew your lease if you don't get that note back to us 60 days prior to your lease running out. so they screwed me! BIG TIME!!!!! luckily my husband was deploying soon and we could use his orders to get out of our lease so I told them my husband is deploying and I want to give my 30 day notice the staff said ok just bring in his orders well when I brought in his orders I was told I was still responsible for another months rent, because the 30 day notice I had given wasn't good without his orders.

Don't move here! The staff is rude, the apartments are gross, the area is unsafe, the neighbors are rowdy (marine town)...only thing good here were the maintenance men.
