Lived there for almost a year. There is a terrible problem with waterbugs. Whenever it rained I could guarantee to find a waterbug somewhere in my house. One morning i woke up to one right above my head -GROSS. They come in and spray for bugs but it doesnt help. Do not live here if you have a fear of bugs because these bugs are huge, they look like cockroaches. Also I did not like the fact that they would come in and do an inspection even if you are not home, thats wierd. Appliances are old. We lived in a two bedroom apartment which only has one bathroom. It would be okay if the bathroom wasnt smaller than a closet. Sometimes people would play loud music at night, seemed like party central to me. I never had a problem with the manager or the maintance, they were always friendly. I honestly couldnt wait to move. If your trying to save money and dont care about sleeping with bugs, live here. Otherwise I suggest you keep looking, spend a lil extra to live in comfort.

there are bugs everywhere in NC and park west is actually better than any other apt we've lived in here. i've never had a problem with noise and if i did i'd call to make a complaint. also you have to sign a forum saying if you do/don't want maintenance in your apt with out you around.. so that is your fault

i had a huge problem with insects too. and i don't care if it's a "southern thing" there should be measures taken. better sealed cracks. better pesticide sprayed on the perimeter of EVERY building. and stricter pet rules. i had a woman living downstairs from me with 5 cats. That's gross. Sorry.

how is having 5 cats gross? and it really dont matter what you do, bugs are gunna get in SOMEHOW, just like your gunna find ants every now and then no matter what you do..
