Last February my husband and I signed a lease with Puller Place and paid out deposits. We also gave a thirty day notice to our landlord. He actually put the house on the market and sold it. Come thirty days and we were homeless.

Puller Place told us that our apartment would be available. However, it was still under construction. The apartments were not completed at the estimated time. The staff would tell us to call literally the next day--everyday. We did. They were very flippant about our concerns. They also told us that if the apartment was not complete that we could store our household goods in a garage.

To make a very long, stressful story short--almost two months later we did not have an apartment or a garage. We depleted our savings account by living in a hotel and having to pay to keep our goods in storage. By the time we were finished, we spent over four thousand dollars.

We finally rented a home in Cape Carteret. I consider myself fortunate when I read the reviews.

The staff didn't seem compassionate towards our concerns at all. I hope someone in the military catches wind of this. Its a shame that young couples can be taken advantage of like this.
