We moved in the apartment in July 2006 and we have nothing but problems after problems. First problem was when our 3 bedroom unit was not available at the time we needed to move, so we had to take a 2 BR unit since they cannot guarantee a definite date and we've been staying at a hotel. The garage we reserved was not ready as promised so we had to take one on the other side of property when our stuff were delivered. Shoddy construction is apparent after we moved in (paint peeling, no toe molding over tile floor, nails sticking out of walls, etc), poor layout/design of the unit (second bedroom is bigger than master, HVAC return is on the den wall, poor choice of lighting over dining area, etc) and the place was not even cleaned before movein (construction dust everywhere in the unit, and in the building breezeway/stairs). Washer broke at first use (it flooded the area), microwave was not working right (replaced after several weeks of bugging them), thermostat has been broke and "fixed" and replaced yet still not working right. Drainage problems on the entire property after raining. Construction debris on the road (nails, screws). Master bedroom is too small compared to other apartments (we had problems fitting in our bedroom furniture here but not in several other apartments we were in before). To make matters worst,we are stuck with Broadstar as cable/internet provider, and we have no choice because of their contract with the apartment. This should have been made clear to everyone before contract signing. Broadstar "hi-speed" internet is barely above 256k DSL speed, unreliable connection, cable signal is analog, and the cost is way more than Digital cable and cable internet service u can get from Time Warner or Charter. Advise to potential tenants - don't be fooled by the name or the so-called custom cosmetic features shown on their website. This place is too pricey for the size and is constantly "under construction".
