Overall Puller Place has been an alright place to live. As with any apartment, there will be the pros and cons. They're are alot of flashy things that the apartment has such as a pool, car wash port, indoor basketball court.. but these are some of the things that get you to sign the lease before you know how it's like to actually live in the apartment itself. Everything is pricy about this place, the rent to start off. If you want to have cable or internet, you only have once choice through a company the apartment has a contract with called Broadstar... it's way too expensive compared to Time-Warner and especially for the service. Whenever it rains, like a satelite, your service is out. If you want digital cable, it costs alot extra and you get billed installation fees. If you have a pet, you'll be paying for a deposit that you don't get back, and it costs money every month to have one. Your pet can't be no more than 30 lbs. and has to be a certain breed. My husband and I thought about getting a pet, but after reading some of the reviews it seems they would just scam us out of more money by saying the pet did damage. If you want to have visitors stay with you, you have to notify the office first. The maintenence staff does come to fix the problems quickly, but I can recall a couple times they came into my apartment unannounced. Also, we were left with cold water and they would claim to fix it but the problem kept occurring until finally it was resolved. The management has been very nice, but they have lost our rent and bill checks more than once, then they put notices on your door saying they will fine you if you don't pay, so make sure you keep all copies. Parking is pretty bad, if you're not home by 4pm, you'll have to park in visitors, and even sometimes thats full. When it rains, the parking lot floods with water. The trash compactor is always full too. Overall, the apartments are nice and the staff and maintenence has been good, and they hold plenty of fun events for the community to participate in, but the price is high and you don't have alot of freedom. For the price, you could rent a house and have whatever kind of pet you want, and have whoever you want to have over, and have the freedom to choose what service providers you want, and alot more space!
