My wife wrote a comment a few months ago and I just wanted to update the situation. The walls are still super thin and we hear everything but things have gotten tediously worse. The kids of the neighborhood are throwing things damaging cars, police are being called, damage in the apartments due to water, ants and spiders (pets control my @ss!) yet have seen nothing to enforce the rules of the property. (A flyer doesn't cut it!) The latest, and the reason that I want to post a comment today, is that I come home (from looking into buying a home) and my wife and I find that the hallways have been egged. We told the property manager and she shrugged it off and said that it will be cleaned up in a week. What! That is ridiculous! Like some one else stated, from the outside this is nice, but once you move in they personnel gets snotty and don't care anymore. It is funny to the obvious comment that the staff post. Doing things for the community isn't throwing a party with prizes and the big ones like a $100 to pier one and a plasma TV and them going to the staff, that is all a delusion. I don't know why we live in the newest, most expensive, "nicest" apartments in Jacksonville and living here is a real sh!tty experience!'!' If this is Abbignton Place I know you're telling the truth about the ant problem and the rude, dismissive, arrogant staff. To pay so much money for such crappy service is horrible. I think the management is young and likely has never really had a management job. Her attiude is beyond dismissive. They were accomadating and all when we looked at the place, but once we moved in it was all down hill. And they lie right to your face about things. I don't like this at all. Glad my lease is up very soon. They're toting themselves as having the best address and being a "luxury" community, but it's far from that. If the ants don't run you out the staff wiil.
