oh where do i start. If you have pets this is not the place for you, A month before my 12 month lease was up my husband bought me two shi tzu puppies in case you don't these dogs only weigh 5 pounds each and I kept them very clean. The employees notice them and send me an $800 dollar bill, $350 "so called deposit" per dog and a $50 dollar fee per dog for not telling them I had them. Give me a break I moving out in 4 weeks yet I still had to pay there "deposit". When we moved out I received $200 bill in the mail for so called pet damages. Even though just a mere 4 weeks earlier I had given them $800 dollars for what they lead me to believe was a "nonrefundable deposit" When I called to inquire about the $200 bill the girls in the office where so very immature and unhelpful that I had to call Blue Ridge Property Management (the company that owns the apartments). After weeks of calling the Manager in charge of this particular property and getting no answer or call back she finally returns my call and tells me that it is not a deposit but a fee, a fee for what I asked and she rudely replied "well for us to give you (the residents) the privilege of keeping you animals on our property). I had never once been informed verbally or written that this was a fee and not a deposit, it was writen no where in my contact that it would not be used for damages cause by my pets but simply kept but the company.

I eventually just paid them the $200 in fears of having my credit score harmed by there obscene fees.. And now here I am nearly 6 months after I moved out and I have just received a collections bill stating that I never paid them the $200...

Do you see where I'm going with this

DO NOT RENT FROM ANY APARTMENTS OWNED BY BLUE RIDGE PROPERTY
ESPECIALLY THE RESERVE AT JACKSONVILLE COMMONS

the housing is nice but very overpriced I was told a one bedroom would cost me $650 a month and I never paid a bill under $750, they tack on all these extra fees for maintenance - water- and cable..
the staff is rude and unhelpful one of the maintenance staff actually yelled at me once..
the quality of the structure is poor obvious cut corners when it was built...
you can here your neighbors from every side of the apartments no matter how loud or quit they are the walls are that thin..
and the construction across the street wont let you sleep in past 8am weekends included..

DO NOT RENT FROM ANY APARTMENTS OWNED BY BLUE RIDGE PROPERTY
ESPECIALLY THE RESERVE AT JACKSONVILLE COMMONS
