The apartment that my spouse and I rented was nice and new, but there are too many drawbacks to the few rewards this place has. While the "freshness" and "cleanliness" of the apartments might attract you, there are some things that you need to know about. The landlords will take it upon themselves to enter your apartment when you aren't home. They also send in maintenance people that will enter without notice, and they usually enter while you aren't home. Trash is an inconvenience, the lawn maintenance men like to gaze into windows, there ARE bugs in the apartments, but they are small and hard to notice. You cannot hang anything on the walls, or decorate the place to your liking. If you DO decide to hang something on the walls you run the risk of losing your security deposit for ruining the wall. No utilities included in the newer apartments. No parking available for guests so I hope you like isolation from loved ones. Solicitors LOVE this place and you will see the same one MORE THEN ONCE! Do yourself a favor and check ALL of your options before choosing these apartments.

Although I only lived in Webb for one year, I feel I have to respond to this opinion because it was a little too childish. I also lived in the newer 2bd/2bth apts, so I cannot speak for the 1br apts. All you have to do is take the trash to the dumpster, which isn't far from even the farthest units. Sorry they dont come in and bag it for you. You can hang what you like on the walls, so long as you use a certain hanging nail, which isn't good for everything to hang but you can still decorate just fine with them. Management did not come through my apt ( as far as I know) without me knowing. Maintenance did, but only if I requested for something to get fixed. No utilities in the apartments???? For that price can you really ask for utilities too? Get real ok. There was always plenty of parking spots available and they are large so your guests can double park for more room. Yes, solicitors come through on occasion, but they are polite, and if your not interested or dont want to donate they will continue on their way with no problem. As far as the lawn men gazing into windows, the lawn men did an outstanding job with constantly maintained lawns. Actually it was mostly one younger man mowing the lawns. I never saw anything but hard work from him and I think its just a stereotypical thing to say about a younger maintenance man that he was "gazing". The bugs are a little problem on the newer apts because they are close to wooded areas but the bugs were rarely inside my home. I will say one thing about the management that I didnt totally feel confortable with and that is that it is sometimes hard to get a hold of management. Just because it is working hours doesn't mean that you will be able to reach them. They did not keep my full deposit, however, I feel they exaggereated some of the deductions. Webb apartment is the type of community where joggers and mothers with baby strollers are not uncommon. Overall, an excellent place to live and if I didn't have to relocate for my job, then I would definately be living there now.

In the new 2br/2bath, sewer, trash, and cable (79 channels) are included in the rent. Yes, the lease does specify that the owners are allowed to view the conditions of the apartments at reasonable hours, and to inspect for damages that could occur (like leaks, etc.). But we do not just "GO" into someones's apartment without reason. We respect the privacy of each tenant, and do perform maintenance at the tenants request. We do not have a 24 hour maintenance but I live on premises, so getting up with me is not too hard for emergencies. We strive to give good service and a nice, safe, clean place to live. Sometimes, you just can't please everyone no matter what you do. Thanks for the positive response to the above letter. You would definately be welcomed back here.

I also have to disagree with this review. I lived in these apartments for a year and this review is inaccurate. Yes, management will come into the apartment when you're not home, but guess what, so do all landlords at all apartments. Never was there a time someone was in the apartment that a notice wasn't posted. I never noticed the lawn worker looking into windows. It's my understanding he's the manager's son and he did an excellent job! This place has some of the best maintained landscape on Piney Green. There is only the one dumpster that I know of and it's right next to the laundromat, but I was fortunate enough to have it behind my apartment so that was not a problem. Most of the time you would see the guys pulling their pickups back there to dump the trash. I asked about hanging stuff on the walls and decorating, and was told there was no problem with that - only to use a small nail, especially for hanging curtains. Parking is a bit on the scarce side in some spots of the property, but when I left they had just finished adding a few more spaces and most are long enough to park one behind another. I can't speak for other apartments, but I paid $450/mo for a 1 br and cable/water/trash are all included. What a deal! Most apartment in J'Ville are much more expensive and not nearly as nice. This is a great place to live and I highly recommend it.
