If you are wealthy and live alone then windsor place is the spot for you in Jacksonville. Otherwise, they really don't meet the bill. The rent is OUTRAGOUS and was just raised again. There studio is highly misrepresented on their websitebut is pleanty big enough for one person, possibly a close couple with no children. As far as maintinence, they are amazing!! The guys are very nice and polite, and they get things done right away!As far as them comming into your home without an invite, i have never experienced that myself. I signed a waiver when I moved in saying that they have my permission to go in my apartment when I am not home to fix something I have requested to be fixed or to have a filter changed, which is posted with ample time and notice. The Ladies at The office are wonderful to me! I have heard a lot about them being rude and unprofessional, and even seen some of it myself with the head manager Sheree there, but I personally have been given 100% respect, concern and professionalism. I am moving from windsor place ONLY because it is way to expensive for me. A lot of the people living here are military wit BAH and they still have the gaul to complain about the rent. BAH for a LCPL is well more than enough to pay rent and electricity and more often than not the water as well. Then they get a decent paycheck on top of that. So for Military personell This place is great, I dont know what they expect,...$300 rent and the rest to go in their pockets maybee''' but I would live here again in a heart beat if I were to be financially secure enough. Parking can be problematic, but I personally do not have a car, so again, not an issue for me, and the maininence guys and grounds crew can be a bit loud, but its always after 8 am and during the week, so no one really has the right to complain about that, they are doing a job during business hours. I would rather have the grass cut on a regular basis and have a bit of noise in the late morining than look like trash with weeds growing in the lawn. The pool is very nice.. The appliences in the apartments ARE VERY cheap and constantly brak, but are always fixed withing 24 hours TOPS. ALL in all I liked it here, the prices are too high for what you get, but if comfort convenience and safety are what you are looking for, you will find it here.
