I have lived in several other apartments in Greensboro, and this one is by far the best. My new husband and I ended a lease mutually when we rented from a friend and we had to find a place to live- Fast! Not only was the staff at the Crowne prompt and very understanding, but they got us into the exact unit we wanted in about half the time they orignally quoted. We were terrified that we would be 'settling' since we hadn't had a chance to really invesigate the property and we were hurried to make a decision, and moving onto the second floor. Not a chance, definately worth it. We know all of our neighbors as they have welcomed us into the building and we feel right at home. It is unbelievably quiet, I only hear people when they are really moving on the hard floor in the kitchen upstairs. It is more like a condo than an apartment sound-wise, which is amazing considering there are 12 units in our building. The grounds are so well maintained and the maintenance staff is very prompt. This is the best place for us as newlyweds just to feel like we can settle and relax. My main concerns were noise, as I had lived at Stadler Place and it was a nightmarishly loud, I heard every conversation and foot step, and the trash at the front of the complex, but they do not let it pile up. Then there is parking, I guess that is my one concern, there are a lot of parking places, but there are also a LOT of cars, so far I have not had a problem, but I think it could be a problem for different buildings if they were near the pool or clubhouse. All in all, this apartment complex has really exceeded my expectations!
