We have been at the Crowne for almost two years. Our biggest complaint is the water. The water stains the tubs, sinks, and rusts your pots and pans rather quickly. It's the hardest water I've ever seen. It also has had terrible affects on our hair. If we move we are certainly looking to get on Greensboro water. People we have talked to have told us that Greensboro water is much better.

In our particular building one complaint is the noise. There are always a lot of bumping/slamming of doors in the apartments around us and you can usually here people coming up and down the stairs. Sometimes the whole apartment will shake.

Parking is sometimes a hassle and the layout of the driveways is not the best. All of the driveways tend to curve and snake through the apartments so driving can be a pain sometimes especially since visibility is sometimes hindered when lots of cars are parked and two cars are coming from opposite directions. There have been numerous cases where someone has almost hit me when they came flying around a curve. You also have to be careful of kids running around or riding bikes in the parking lot. With the low visibility it's easy for someone to pop out of nowhere.

During our two years we have seen many people come and go (both residents and staff). Overall the staff has been nice. Maintenance is not the most friendly in the world but they usually get things done.

The location is nice because you are minutes from all of the restaurants and shops on Wendover and also only minutes from High Point. Getting out onto Wendover can sometimes be a pain...especially during rush hours, but it is something you get used to.

Overall we have been happy other than the things I mentioned. The amount of space in these apartments were the most we had found anywhere especially for the price. The buildings are older than most as this complex has been around for a while. They are still nice however.
