Great place to stay but very EXPENSIVE

I have lived here for three years and overall, I would say it is a good place to stay. Many of the concerns I have actually can not be fixed by management or staff. The good points are:
1)nice staff
2)responsive to calls
3)decent sized apartments
4)quiet neighborhood
5)great move-in specials
6)nice neighbors
7)convenient location and near great stores (Target/Wal-Mart/Grocery Stores)
8)Close to I-40 and 311
Issues
1)When I first moved in, my upstairs neighbors had 4 large dogs that barked non-stop for 6 months. They were loud and ran all night without control. It has been quiet ever since the people moved
2)Parking is a nightmare! You can never get a space close to your apartment after 6pm. I often work late and have to walk 1/2 mile (in the dark) to get inside.
3)Electric bill might be expensive depending on your apartment, not usage
4)THE RENT IS EXTREMELY HIGH compared to other apartments in the area. The move-in specials are great, but once you are here over a year, the rent is veerrrrry expensive (went from $550 a month the first year to now $700...for a one bedroom)
5)The setup of the parking lot is the most dangerous one I have seen....I am scared to back out of a space for fear I might be killed...There IS NO VISIBILITY and kids are often in danger of being hit......I often never check my mail for fear that when I back out, I will be HIT.......
Like with any apartment complex, it depends on what you are looking for..ie location, amenities, parking, etc....It has great features, as well as challenging issues
